Our Students - Physical Education
Woodford has a comprehensive Physical Education program. Our PE teacher is accredited by many sporting bodies to conduct quality assured physical education programs.
The Junior classes focus on leanring the Fundamental Motor Skills, which build the essential elements to most sporting movements.
Our school is a financial member of School Sport Victoria. This enables our students to participate in the full range of sporting pursuits and opportunities SSV provide for Primary School aged children. Our students are given the opportunity to compete in events at school, district, division, regional and state championships throughout the year..
As part of weekly Sport sessions (additional to PE classes) the senior students participate in sport specific training opportunities. Our weekly sporting time is a great way for students to train for representative teams, learn new sports and have fun whilst being active.
Woodford Students also perform well on State and National sporting stages.
